The young woman stood motionless behind Adrian.
Silver eyes.
Dark hair.
The same royal mark that Elias and I carried.
My wolf recognized her before my mind could accept it.
She was my sister.
Our sister.
Adrian tightened his grip around Diana's throat.
“Don't get sentimental,” he said coldly. “None of you were supposed to meet.”
Elias stepped forward.
“Let her go.”
The young woman looked at him.
“Elias.”
Her voice trembled.
“I've heard your name all my life.”
Elias's eyes reddened.
“What is your name?”
She hesitated.
“Mira.”
I repeated the name quietly.
“Mira.”
Something inside me shifted.
The three of us were connected.
I could feel it now.
A thread of warmth ran through my chest and reached toward both of them.
Adrian noticed the change.
His expression darkened.
“Don't.”
I looked at him.
“Don't what?”
“Don't awaken the bloodline.”
His voice carried genuine fear.
That was the moment I understood.
He wasn't afraid of us individually.
He was afraid of what we could become together.
I took one step forward.
“You're afraid.”
Adrian's eyes narrowed.
“You have no idea what you're capable of.”
“Then why don't you tell me?”
He pulled Diana closer.
“Because once you remember, this kingdom will never be the same.”
Emmett suddenly moved.
He crossed the room in a blur.
Adrian shoved Diana aside and swung his blade.
Emmett blocked the strike with his arm.
Blood immediately stained his sleeve.
“Emmett!” I cried.
He ignored the wound and struck Adrian across the face.
Adrian staggered backward.
Mira rushed toward Diana and caught her before she fell.
The moment Mira touched her, Diana began sobbing.
“I'm sorry.”
Mira looked at her coldly.
“You should be.”
Elias moved beside them.
Adrian suddenly pulled a small device from his pocket.
A loud pulse exploded through the room.
My knees buckled.
My wolf screamed inside me.
The silver light around my body flickered.
Elias collapsed too.
Mira cried out and fell against the wall.
Adrian smiled.
“You see? You are still incomplete.”
He turned toward the exit.
“The three of you were separated for a reason.”
Emmett forced himself upright.
“You're not leaving.”
Adrian looked back.
“I already won.”
He disappeared through the doorway.
The device's effect slowly faded.
I pushed myself up.
“Why couldn't we stop him?”
Elias looked at Mira.
“Because our wolves aren't fully awakened.”
Mira nodded.
“He used a suppression device created from our blood.”
I stared at her.
“How do you know?”
She looked down at her wrist.
The scar there suddenly began glowing faintly.
“Because Adrian raised me.”
Silence fell.
“He trained me to control my wolf.”
Mira's voice was quiet.
“He told me my family abandoned me.”
I stepped closer.
“We didn't know where you were.”
She looked at me.
“I know that now.”
Her expression softened.
“When I saw you, I felt the connection immediately.”
Elias reached for her hand.
She hesitated before taking it.
For the first time, the three of us stood together.
Diana watched us from the floor, tears streaming down her face.
“There is something else you need to know,” she whispered.
I turned toward her.
“What?”
“Adrian wasn't acting alone.”
Emmett's expression hardened.
“We know.”
Diana shook her head.
“No. You don't understand.”
She looked at me.
“Someone in your current life helped him.”
My heart stopped.
“Who?”
Diana's eyes shifted toward the doorway.
“Nolan.”
I froze.
The man who had hated me in my previous life.
The man who had chosen Chloe.
The man who had told me to stay away from him in my next life.
I couldn't believe it.
“Nolan?”
Diana nodded weakly.
“He doesn't know the entire truth.”
“Then what does he know?”
Before she could answer, my phone rang.
The screen showed an unknown royal number.
I answered.
A man's voice came through.
“Laurel Jennings, if you want Nolan Pierce alive, come to the old northern border before midnight.”
The call ended.
I stared at the screen.
Emmett immediately understood.
“It's a trap.”
I nodded.
“I know.”
Elias looked at me.
“Then we go together.”
Mira stepped forward.
“All three of us.”
I looked at my brother and sister.
Then at Emmett.
For the first time, I wasn't walking into danger alone.
I had found my family.
And whoever had spent twenty-four years destroying our lives was about to learn that we were no longer separated.
