One year later...
Hill Corporation had become the country's leading business group.
Hill Interior Design had expanded overseas, opening branches in three different countries.
As for the Hill family...
They had never been happier.
Little Grace had just celebrated her first birthday.
The Hill mansion was decorated with white roses, balloons, and thousands of tiny lights.
Family, friends, and employees gathered to celebrate.
"Happy Birthday, Grace!"
The little girl clapped excitedly as everyone sang.
She took a tiny handful of cake and accidentally smeared frosting across Shaun's expensive suit.
The guests gasped.
Shaun simply laughed.
"Looks like Daddy needed some decoration too."
Everyone burst into laughter.
"Chairman Hill," Hadley joked.
"That suit costs more than my annual salary."
"Then it's officially priceless now," Shaun replied while lifting Grace into his arms.
Catherine watched the scene with tears of happiness.
This was the family she had once believed she'd never have.
Later that evening, after the guests had left, the family gathered in the garden.
The warm summer breeze carried the scent of blooming flowers.
Grace chased butterflies across the lawn while Shaun followed closely behind.
"Careful," Catherine called with a laugh.
"You're going to tire yourself out before she does."
"Impossible," Shaun answered confidently.
"She's my daughter."
"She's inherited your stubbornness."
"She inherited yours first."
Grace suddenly stumbled while running.
Before she could fall, Shaun caught her effortlessly.
"See?" Catherine smiled.
"Her superhero arrived on time again."
That night, after putting Grace to bed, Shaun led Catherine onto the mansion's rooftop terrace.
Thousands of stars filled the night sky.
The city lights shimmered in the distance.
"Do you remember the first time we stood together under the stars?" Shaun asked.
"Of course."
"I had just admitted I loved you."
"You were nervous."
"Very."
"And now?"
"Now I know I chose the right man."
Shaun reached into his pocket and removed a small velvet box.
"Mr. Hill?" Catherine smiled.
"We're already married."
"I know."
"But I never properly proposed."
He slowly knelt on one knee.
"Catherine Jones..."
"The day you walked into my life, you brought light into a world I thought would always remain cold."
"You became my wife, my best friend, the mother of our daughter, and the greatest blessing I've ever received."
"So tonight..."
"I'd like to ask you again."
"Will you continue spending every tomorrow with me?"
Tears streamed down Catherine's face.
"Mr. Hill..."
"You really know how to make me cry."
"Is that a yes?"
"Yes."
"A thousand times yes."
Shaun slipped the new diamond ring onto her finger.
It rested beside her original wedding ring.
"One was for our marriage," he whispered.
"This one is for our forever."
At that exact moment, fireworks lit up the night sky.
Golden lights reflected in Catherine's tear-filled eyes.
She wrapped her arms around Shaun and kissed him gently.
"Thank you," she whispered.
"For believing in me when I couldn't believe in myself."
"For choosing me every single day."
"For giving me a family."
Shaun rested his forehead against hers.
"No, Mrs. Hill."
"Thank you..."
"For walking into the wrong bar..."
"And accidentally finding the right man."
Below them, little Grace's laughter drifted through the open garden windows.
The sound was warm.
Peaceful.
Full of life.
Catherine smiled as she looked at the city stretching endlessly before them.
She had once lost everything she thought she wanted.
Only to discover something infinitely better waiting ahead.
Love built on trust.
A family built on kindness.
A future built on hope.
And a man who never stopped choosing her.
Hand in hand, Shaun and Catherine stood beneath the stars with hearts full of gratitude.
Their journey had begun with betrayal and heartbreak.
But it ended with forgiveness, happiness, and a love that neither time nor fate could ever break.
Because sometimes...
The greatest love story begins the moment you stop chasing the wrong person...
And finally meet the one who was always meant to be yours.
