Nathan frowned as he listened to Ethan over the phone.
"What do you mean Claire wasn't acting alone?"
"A former employee came forward this morning," Ethan replied.
"She says someone inside the company encouraged Claire's obsession with you."
"I'm bringing her to your office now."
Nathan ended the call and looked at Olivia.
"Do you want to go home first?"
Olivia smiled softly.
"No."
"Let's finish this together."
An hour later, they arrived at Bennett Holdings.
For the first time since the incident, Olivia walked through the company entrance without fear.
Employees immediately stood up.
"Good morning, Mrs. Bennett."
"We're so sorry for what happened."
"Welcome back."
Olivia nodded politely.
"Thank you."
Inside Nathan's office, Ethan introduced a young woman named Melissa.
"I worked with Claire for over a year," Melissa explained.
"She wasn't always like this."
"Then what changed?" Nathan asked.
"Last year someone anonymously started sending her messages."
"They kept telling her that you and Mrs. Bennett were unhappy."
"They convinced her she had a chance if she could separate the two of you."
"Do you know who sent them?"
Melissa shook her head.
"The messages came from fake accounts."
"But our IT department traced them this morning."
"They all originated from overseas servers."
"Whoever did it covered their tracks well."
Nathan exchanged a glance with Ethan.
"Keep investigating," he ordered.
"But don't let it consume company resources."
"Claire has already answered for her crimes."
"If someone else is involved, we'll deal with them through the proper channels."
"Understood, sir."
After Melissa left, Olivia gently took Nathan's hand.
"Don't chase every shadow," she said.
"We've already lost enough time."
Nathan smiled sadly.
"You're right."
"I almost lost what matters most because I was too focused on work."
"That won't happen again."
Over the following months, Bennett Holdings underwent major changes.
Every executive completed mandatory workplace conduct training.
New visitor verification procedures were introduced.
Employees were encouraged to report harassment without fear of retaliation.
Nathan personally established a foundation that provided legal and financial assistance to victims of workplace violence.
"No one should ever experience what Olivia went through," he said during the foundation's opening ceremony.
His speech was broadcast nationwide.
The public praised the reforms.
Olivia quietly returned to her design studio.
She accepted fewer projects, choosing instead to focus on her pregnancy and her health.
Nathan left work earlier every evening.
Sometimes they cooked dinner together.
Sometimes they simply sat on the balcony talking about the future.
For the first time in years, work no longer came before family.
Five months later...
Nathan paced nervously outside the delivery room.
"Relax," Ethan laughed.
"You've negotiated billion-dollar contracts without breaking a sweat."
"This is different," Nathan replied.
"Much different."
A baby's loud cry suddenly echoed through the hallway.
Nathan's eyes widened.
Moments later, the doctor walked out smiling.
"Congratulations, Mr. Bennett."
"Your wife delivered a healthy baby girl."
Nathan rushed into the room.
Olivia looked exhausted but radiant.
Cradled in her arms was a tiny sleeping infant.
"Meet your daughter," Olivia whispered.
Nathan carefully held the baby.
His eyes became misty.
"She's beautiful."
"She looks just like her mother."
Olivia laughed softly.
"Let's hope she inherits your patience instead."
Nathan leaned down and kissed Olivia's forehead.
"Thank you... for never giving up on us."
"We both fought for this little miracle," Olivia replied.
Several days later, they introduced their daughter to the Bennett Holdings employees.
The entire lobby erupted in applause.
Flowers filled every corner of the building.
Even the receptionist who had witnessed the terrible incident months earlier wiped away tears.
"Welcome home, Mrs. Bennett," she said warmly.
"And welcome, little princess."
As Nathan wrapped one arm around Olivia and gently held their daughter with the other, he realized success was never measured by wealth or power.
It was measured by the family waiting for you at home.
And this time...
He would never allow anyone to come between them again.
