The review began that afternoon.
Our mentor submitted a formal request to the certification board, asking them to verify the examination records and answer histories for both Holly and me.
Holly stood beside me throughout the process, pretending to be calm.
But I could see the tension in her face.
She kept glancing at the computer screen as though she were waiting for something terrible to appear.
I knew exactly what she was afraid of.
In my previous life, I had never known about the Achievement Transfer System until after my death.
This time, however, I had spent the entire month watching Holly carefully.
Every time I studied, she would find an excuse to stay nearby.
Every time I learned something new, she would suddenly become interested in the same topic.
Yet after I stopped studying, she had no knowledge to transfer.
That was why her results were so ordinary.
The technician pulled up the examination records.
"We have something unusual," he said.
Holly immediately stiffened.
"What is it?" our mentor asked.
The technician frowned at the screen.
"There are repeated synchronization requests connected to Holly's student account."
Everyone exchanged confused looks.
"Synchronization requests?" our mentor repeated.
"Yes. They appear to have been triggered whenever another student's learning activity increased."
My heart began pounding.
There it was.
The first crack in Holly's perfect disguise.
Holly quickly stepped forward. "That must be a system error. I've never done anything like that."
The technician shook his head.
"I don't think it's a normal error. There's a secondary authorization attached to these requests."
He clicked through several records.
A hidden interface appeared on the screen.
My eyes narrowed.
I recognized it immediately.
The Achievement Transfer System.
It had been invisible to me in my previous life, but now the evidence was sitting right in front of everyone.
Holly's face turned white.
"Close it," she whispered.
Our mentor looked at her sharply.
"Why?"
She couldn't answer.
The technician continued examining the records.
"Someone created a transfer link between Holly Monroe and Dakota Saunders."
The room fell completely silent.
I slowly turned toward Holly.
"A transfer link?"
She took a step backward.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
I smiled faintly.
"Then you won't mind if they keep investigating, right?"
Her lips trembled.
For months, she had treated everything I accomplished as something she could simply take.
She had believed that as long as she could steal my effort, nobody would ever question her talent.
But this time, I had deliberately given her nothing.
And now the system was exposing her on its own.
The technician opened the transfer history.
"Professor, these records show that the link was active before the examination."
Our mentor's expression became grim.
"Can you determine what was transferred?"
"Yes. Knowledge data, study activity, and examination preparation records."
Holly suddenly shouted, "No! That's impossible!"
I looked at her calmly.
"Why is it impossible?"
She froze.
I took one step closer.
"Didn't you tell everyone that you were naturally talented?"
Her face twisted with panic.
"Dakota, you don't understand!"
"Then explain it to me."
She opened her mouth but couldn't produce a single word.
For the first time, the class wasn't looking at me like a nobody trying to compete with Holly.
They were looking at Holly as though she were the one hiding something.
I turned toward our mentor.
"Professor, there's one more thing you should check."
"What is it?"
I pointed at the transfer history.
"The records from before this examination aren't the only ones there."
The technician scrolled downward.
His expression changed again.
"There are older records."
My fingers tightened.
Those records could finally prove what had happened in my previous life.
Holly saw them too.
And she knew it was over.
Because if those records were opened, everyone would learn exactly how many things she had stolen from me.
