Six months passed.

The new York Community Book Center was nearing completion.

Its elegant glass walls reflected the morning sunlight, and excitement spread throughout Wiltspoon.

People eagerly awaited its grand opening.

Inside the construction office, Serenity reviewed the final interior designs.

"Everything is coming together beautifully," she said.

"The children's library is my favorite," Jasmine replied.

"Those reading corners are adorable."

"I hope children will love them."

"Trust me—they will."

Just then, Ben entered carrying a sealed envelope.

"Mrs. York," he said.

"This was delivered anonymously."

Serenity opened it carefully.

Inside were several photographs.

Each one showed Zachary having dinner with an elegant young woman.

Another photo appeared to show them entering a hotel together.

A handwritten note read:

"Your husband isn't as loyal as you believe."

"Leave him before everyone laughs at you."

Jasmine frowned immediately.

Serenity quietly studied the photographs.

"I agree."

"You... believe him?" Jasmine asked.

"I trust Zachary."

Ben handed Zachary an identical envelope.

Zachary looked at the pictures for only a few seconds.

"The hotel meeting was attended by twelve executives."

"Someone cropped everyone else out."

"Exactly, sir."

"Our cybersecurity team traced the anonymous email."

"Where did it lead?"

"To a private investigator hired shortly before Victoria Lang's trial."

"She's still trying to destroy Serenity," Zachary said quietly.

"Even from prison."

"It appears so."

"Then let's end this once and for all."

That evening...

Zachary arrived home carrying a folder.

"I suppose you've seen the photographs," he said.

"Yes," Serenity answered.

"And?"

"I threw them away."

"You... didn't believe them?"

"Should I?" Serenity smiled.

"You're the man who crossed half the city to rescue me."

"The man who stood before the entire nation to defend me."

"The man who never once gave me a reason to doubt him."

"Why would I suddenly trust strangers instead of my husband?"

For a moment, Zachary simply looked at her.

Then he laughed softly.

"You really are extraordinary."

"No," Serenity replied.

"Marriage only works when trust is stronger than gossip."

She gently took his hand.

"I choose to trust you."

"Every single day."

Zachary pulled her into a warm embrace.

"Thank you."

"You have no idea how much those words mean to me."

Along with the statement came security footage, official meeting records, and signed attendance logs proving the photographs had been deliberately edited.

The story exploded across the internet.

"Fake Scandal Against President York Exposed."

"Evidence Reveals Deliberate Manipulation."

"Authorities Launch New Investigation."

Police quickly traced the forgery to the same investigator who had previously worked for Victoria Lang.

The investigator confessed everything.

Victoria had promised a large payment if Serenity and Zachary's marriage collapsed.

Inside her prison cell, Victoria silently watched the broadcast.

She lowered her head.
