The entire Lunaris Pack was shaken by the news of my death.

Within hours, word spread that the future Luna had died during a kidney transplant while donating her only remaining kidney.

The academy forum, which had once been filled with insults toward me, suddenly fell silent.

Soon afterward, Healer Petra publicly released a statement.

"Miss Zora Thorne was terminally poisoned by wolfsbane before the operation. She had less than three days to live. More importantly, she only possessed one kidney before today's surgery. Someone concealed her medical records and forced the operation anyway."

The announcement exploded throughout the pack.

"Only one kidney?"

"Didn't her family know?"

"How could they force a dying woman into surgery?"

"This isn't sacrifice. This is murder!"

The tide instantly turned.

Those who had mocked me for refusing to help Laila now flooded the comments with apologies.

"We misunderstood her."

"She was protecting her own life all along."

"Her family destroyed her."

Meanwhile, another investigation quietly began.

Healer Petra refused to believe the missing kidney had simply vanished.

She demanded access to every medical record from five years ago.

Late that evening, the archived documents finally arrived.

After comparing blood types, healing signatures, and surgical reports, Petra slammed the files onto the desk.

"The donor was Zora!"

"Laila never donated anything."

"Someone deliberately switched the donor names after the surgery."

The shocking discovery reached my parents immediately.

Dad collapsed into his chair.

"No... that's impossible..."

Petra coldly placed the original records before him.

"Read them yourself."

"The donor was your elder daughter, Zora."

"The forged report naming Laila was submitted the following morning."

Mom stared blankly at the papers.

Her lips trembled uncontrollably.

"Then... all these years..."

"We've been thanking the wrong daughter..."

"We've hated the one who actually saved us..."

Neither of them noticed Laila slowly backing away toward the door.

"Laila." Simon suddenly stopped her.

She froze.

"Did you know about this?"

"N-No... I didn't..."

"Look at me and answer."

For the first time, Simon's voice carried no warmth.

Only disgust.

Laila's eyes darted around desperately.

"I... I thought Mom and Dad already knew..."

"You lied."

"No!"

"You accepted Zora's sacrifice."

"You stole her thesis."

"You stole her kidney donation."

"And finally... you stole me."

Every accusation landed like a blade.

Unable to defend herself, Laila burst into tears.

"I only wanted everyone to love me!"

"Love?" Simon laughed bitterly.

"You built your happiness on Zora's suffering."

"That was never love."

Mom suddenly rushed toward Laila.

Without hesitation, she slapped her across the face.

The sharp sound echoed through the hallway.

"Tell me!" Mom cried.

"How many more things have you stolen from your sister?"

Laila fell to the floor, unable to answer.

At that moment, everyone finally realized the cruelest truth.

The daughter they had cherished all these years had been lying from the very beginning.

And the daughter they had abandoned had loved them until her final breath.

You finished
