One week after Tiffany Lynn's arrest, peace slowly returned to the Ford Mansion.
For the first time in years, Sabrina woke without fear.
The accusations against her had been officially withdrawn.
Her criminal record had been erased.
The courts publicly declared her innocent.
Yet the scars left by those years remained.
Arthur sat in the garden watching Sabrina water the white lilies.
"Your mother loved those flowers," he said softly.
Sabrina smiled.
"I know."
"I finally understand why she never hated anyone."
"Even after everything she suffered."
Arthur nodded proudly.
"She was stronger than all of us."
Sebastian approached quietly.
Unlike before, he no longer wore the cold expression that kept everyone at a distance.
"Good morning," he said.
"Morning," Sabrina replied politely.
There was no hatred between them anymore.
But there was still distance.
Sebastian accepted it.
Trust could not be rebuilt overnight.
"The police recovered more documents from the Lynn estate," he said.
"Most of them concern your parents."
Sabrina looked surprised.
"More evidence?"
"Yes."
"Your father's name has finally been cleared completely."
Tears quietly filled Sabrina's eyes.
"He deserved that."
"He always did."
Later that afternoon, Sebastian invited Sabrina to lunch.
"It's not a date," he clarified awkwardly.
"I simply wanted to thank you... properly."
She almost laughed.
"You're terrible at apologizing."
"I know."
"I'm learning."
For the first time, Sabrina smiled naturally.
"Then I'll help you practice."
They spent the afternoon talking.
Not as strangers forced into marriage.
But as two people slowly learning about each other.
Sebastian told her stories about his childhood.
Sabrina shared memories of her mother.
Every conversation erased another wall between them.
That evening, Arthur watched them from the balcony.
"Finally..." he whispered.
"They're beginning to see each other."
Days later, Sebastian held a press conference.
Hundreds of reporters filled the hall.
"Mr. Ford," one journalist asked.
"Recent investigations proved your wife was wrongly convicted."
"Do you have anything to say?"
Sebastian stepped toward the microphone.
"Yes."
"Several years ago... an innocent woman lost her freedom because powerful people manipulated the law."
"Unfortunately... I was one of the people who believed those lies."
"For that... I publicly apologize to my wife, Sabrina Ford."
The entire room fell silent.
Sebastian continued.
"Beginning today, the Ford Foundation will establish a legal aid program for victims of wrongful convictions."
"No one should suffer what Sabrina suffered."
Across the room, Sabrina watched quietly.
She hadn't expected him to apologize in front of the entire country.
When the conference ended, reporters surrounded her.
"Mrs. Ford, have you forgiven your husband?"
She looked toward Sebastian.
"Forgiveness isn't something spoken once."
"It's proven through actions."
"He's finally taking the first step."
That night, Sebastian knocked on Sabrina's bedroom door.
"May I come in?"
"Of course."
He handed her a small velvet box.
"What's this?"
"Open it."
Inside lay a delicate silver necklace.
Its pendant was shaped like a white lily.
"I had it made from your mother's old necklace."
"The damaged parts were restored."
Sabrina's eyes became red.
"You repaired it?"
"I wanted to return something your family lost."
She carefully held the necklace.
"Thank you... Sebastian."
It was the first time she had spoken his name without sadness.
Just then, Sebastian's assistant hurried into the room.
"Mr. Ford!"
"We've received new information."
"About the Lynn family?"
"No..."
"About the mysterious anonymous account that funded them for years."
Sebastian's expression turned serious.
"Did you identify the owner?"
"Not exactly."
"The account belongs to an organization called... Black Phoenix."
"We've never heard of them before."
"There's one more thing."
"What?"
"Their leader sent this message directly to you."
The assistant handed Sebastian a sealed envelope.
He opened it slowly.
Inside was a single black card.
Written across it were chilling words:
"The Lynn family were only pawns."
"Now... the real game begins."
