The next morning, I received a call from the principal asking me to take a few days off.
"Parents have been discussing the video online," she said awkwardly. "We know you're the victim, but the school wants to avoid unnecessary attention."
"I understand," I replied calmly.
After hanging up, I contacted a lawyer and officially submitted the divorce application.
"Mrs. Henderson, since this is a mutual property dispute, we'll also need evidence of your husband's affair," the lawyer explained.
I smiled faintly.
"Don't worry. I have plenty."
As soon as I left the law firm, Xavier blocked my path.
"Lily, we need to talk."
"There's nothing left to discuss."
"You really want to divorce me?"
"Yes."
His face darkened.
"Is it because of Sandra? I already told you—we were drunk that night. It only happened once."
I almost laughed.
"Only once?"
I opened my phone and played another clip from the hidden camera.
The date displayed on the screen was two months earlier.
Then another.
And another.
There were recordings from different weeks.
Every single one showed Xavier and Sandra using my car as their private hotel.
The blood drained from Xavier's face.
"How... how do you have so many videos?"
"Because unlike you, I prepare before I trust someone."
"Lily, listen to me..."
"No, you listen."
"You cheated on me repeatedly inside my own car."
"You lied to me every single day."
"And when people insulted me online, you stood beside your mistress instead of your wife."
"Do you honestly believe saying 'I'm sorry' can erase all of that?"
Xavier lowered his head without answering.
At that moment, another luxury sedan stopped beside us.
A tall man stepped out.
"Sandra Lee?" he asked coldly.
Xavier froze.
"Justin... why are you back so early?"
Justin Lee looked exhausted after what seemed like a long international flight.
"My business trip ended yesterday."
"I came home because everyone kept sending me videos of my wife."
He turned toward me politely.
"Mrs. Henderson, I heard you were the one who exposed everything."
"Yes," I answered honestly.
Justin nodded before looking back at Xavier.
"Good."
"Because now it's your turn to explain why my wife has been sleeping with you while I was overseas."
For the first time since my rebirth, I saw genuine fear appear on Xavier's face.
