Three months after their wedding celebration, life settled into a peaceful rhythm.
Every morning, Zachary and Serenity enjoyed breakfast together before leaving for work.
Some days they visited the York Community Book Center.
Other days they traveled to schools through the York Literacy Foundation.
For the first time in years, Zachary felt completely at peace.
One Monday morning, Serenity walked into the kitchen unusually quiet.
"Good morning," Zachary said with a smile.
"Morning," she replied softly.
"You're not hungry?"
"Not really."
She suddenly covered her mouth and hurried toward the sink.
"Serenity?"
"Are you alright?"
"I... I don't know."
"I've been feeling dizzy since yesterday."
Grandma May, who happened to be visiting, looked at Serenity carefully.
Then a knowing smile slowly appeared on her face.
"How long has this been happening?"
"A few days," Serenity admitted.
"And you're tired all the time?"
"Yes."
"Ben," Grandma May said excitedly.
"Cancel everything."
"We're going to the hospital."
"Grandma!" Serenity laughed.
"It's probably nothing."
"Humor an old woman," Grandma May insisted.
An hour later, they arrived at the city's best medical center.
After several examinations, the doctor returned with a warm smile.
"Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. York."
"Everything looks wonderful."
"You're expecting a baby."
The room fell completely silent.
"A... baby?" Serenity whispered.
"Yes," the doctor confirmed.
"Approximately eight weeks."
Serenity looked at Zachary.
Her eyes instantly filled with tears.
"We're going to be parents," she whispered.
For a moment, Zachary simply stood there.
The billionaire who had negotiated billion-dollar contracts suddenly found himself speechless.
Then he smiled.
It was the brightest smile anyone in the room had ever seen.
He gently took Serenity into his arms.
"Thank you," he whispered.
"You've given me the greatest gift of my life."
Grandma May burst into tears.
"I'm going to be a great-grandmother!"
"Finally!"
Ben quietly wiped his eyes.
"Congratulations, sir."
"Congratulations, Mrs. York."
News spread through the York family within hours.
That evening, everyone gathered at the estate.
Callum rushed toward Zachary.
"Big Brother!"
"You're actually going to be a dad!"
"Looks that way."
"I can't believe it!"
The entire family celebrated with laughter and music.
Grandma May insisted on preparing Serenity's favorite dishes.
"You're eating for two now," she declared proudly.
"No skipping meals."
"Yes, Grandma," Serenity laughed.
Later that night, Zachary and Serenity walked through the quiet gardens.
"Are you nervous?" Serenity asked.
"Terrified," Zachary admitted honestly.
"Really?"
"I know how to run a corporation."
"I have no idea how to be a father."
Serenity gently held his hand.
"You'll be wonderful."
"How can you be so sure?"
"Because I've watched you."
"You're patient."
"You're kind."
"You protect the people you love."
"That's exactly what a good father does."
Zachary smiled softly.
"Then we'll learn together."
"Together," Serenity agreed.
He knelt beside her and gently placed his hand over her stomach.
"Hello, little one," he whispered.
"Your mother already changed my life."
"I can't wait to meet the person who's about to change it again."
Serenity laughed through happy tears.
The stars shone brightly above the York estate.
As they stood together beneath the peaceful night sky, both realized that every challenge they had faced had led them to this moment.
Their greatest adventure...
Was only just beginning.
